Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links, Testimonials

Booked this hotel because of the excellent rate recieved from CentralR and having played golf there once I felt I would like to return and experience the hotel. Everything about the hotel is top class, the accomodations are comfortable and well appointed. The seaside location is ideal for a walk on the beach to clear the cobwebs in the morning. I just had breakfast so I can't comment too much on the dining facilities, suffice to say that breakfast was top rate. I will be returning and next time I will include golf also. One complaint that I have is nothing to do with the hotel, signposting is up to the usual Irish standard ie if you dont know where you are going then the signposts won't get you there. I found Portmarnock by trial and error which is ok if you want to see the sights of North County Dublin but at near midnight it was frustrating.
